Budget from payouts that reached you
App earnings, completed trips or delivery totals may not equal the amount and timing of the payout you receive. For current cash-flow planning, use the payout that has actually arrived in the balance you track.
WangBuddy does not connect to gig platforms or bank accounts. You record the cash and spending information used by the plan.
Use a short record–protect–review cycle
- Record each payout after arrival. Keep pending platform earnings outside current available cash.
- Record work and personal spending. Fuel, transport or other outflows reduce the tracked cash when they occur; categories do not change that arithmetic.
- Protect required commitments. Add active required payments due inside the chosen horizon.
- Keep reserves and a buffer visible. These protected records reduce the unassigned remainder without WangBuddy holding any money.
- Review regularly. Revisit the plan after a payout, a material spending event or a commitment payment.
Example: variable daily earnings
Suppose RM180.00 arrives on Tuesday, RM95.00 on Wednesday and RM220.00 on Friday. The plan grows when each payout is received. A platform estimate for Saturday does not enter Friday's available cash.
If recorded work spending and required commitments use most of the arrived amount, a low Safe-to-Spend estimate is information about the current records—not a prediction of how much Saturday will earn.
Do not let a strong day become a fictional average
One strong day can distort an assumed weekly income. Keep confirmed payouts as individual events and use the current total, required horizon and protected amounts to make the next decision.

Gig-worker planning limitations
- WangBuddy does not verify platform statements, payout deductions or bank deposits.
- It does not forecast demand, earnings, fuel prices or vehicle costs.
- The plan can only reflect commitments, reserves, buffers and transactions you record.
- This page provides educational cash-flow information, not financial, tax, investment or legal advice.
